Canadian breed standard

"Particolours, unorthodox clip. Size: a Poodle over or under the height limits who has been excused at three shows for this reason."

Colour
Particolour is at least two definite colours appearing in clearly defined markings at the skin.
 Some colours (e.g. silver, blue) will not appear even as puppies. Their coats must clear, this should not be faulted.
Clip
Anything other than Continental, Puppy, or English Saddle (in the regular classes). This is an example of the European trim, it is a DQ in Canada.
